so it looks like i’ll be worthless at home from the 8th onward.
seriously. when i pre-ordered this game, my thought was, like, “cool. i’ll be able to play Augusta National. TTRT.”
truth be told, this game is flat-out the best golf video game ever. and that’s saying something. i used to play these all the time when i was younger, my friends & i. once out of college … not so much. just a round here & there. that all changes with twoods 12. this game is untouchable. if ea’s goal was to reel (back) in the casual gamer, then touche, my friend … mission accomplished.
case in point : i awoke at 5am to get in 9 holes at Augusta this morning. 5am! and not to work out?! who is this guy? um … just your average father-to-be, getting in his golf fix. i’m guessing die-hard golfers will even be shelling out $krilla$ for the game and a PS3 if they don’t already have one, just to tee it up at Augusta. truthfully, i don’t know if i’ll get a real-life round in this year. why would i when i have this game? food for thought.
